Hummer, a well-known car brand, did not last as long as others. It began in 1992 when AM General started selling the M998 Humvee for civilians. This vehicle was originally made for the military. General Motors bought the rights to Hummer and introduced three versions: H1, H2, and H3. The company went bankrupt in 2010, ending the original Hummer line. Now, GM has revived the Hummer name with the new HUMMER EV.
