Ohhhhhh NO! Just pulled my car out this morning and smoke was coming under my hood! it smelled like water so its probably leaking antifreeze, I was hoping it was just a radiator hose, so I took it down to Rich at Charlie and Ray's, OMG, the intake manifold was cracked and leaking out antifreeze, so unlike other mechanic shops their lead mechanic Kenny removed the part and showed me the damage! So then they replaced it, and while I was there I had them change the spark plugs to because, "hey man" my Lincoln Town car was built in 2003, so it's not new buddy! They fixed it, and when I was driving home, wow, it runs like a new car now! One last thing, Baltimore is the only place not invested with bad mechanics. I live in the York Pa area, been here about 5 years now, so after getting bad service here too with high prices, I drive to Baltimore to get my service at Rich's new Charlie and Ray's shop, YEP, I'll even drive an hour and 20 minutes there just for an oil change! You know why, cause it's done right and there not messing my car up, or my wallet! From Billy, 2003 Lincoln Town Car = STILL CRUISING MAN.

Well, all I can say is I have lived in Baltimore for a long time and have taken my cars to other car repair shops around the Essex and Middle River areas. I got so freaking tired of mechanics doing poor work and "plus" charging me too much for a not-so-quality job. Then one day around 2005 I rode by this shop and stopped in to check it out, the guy working there at the time "Ray" wasn't real friendly but very professional you could tell he knew his stuff. After getting bad jobs everywhere else I thought, "Oh well, what do you have to lose? Give him a chance." They did a great job on my 1999 box truck after the other mechanics all let me down and drained my money. I have been taking both my Lincoln Town cars there since then too. Recently they did front-end work to my 2007 I had them change both upper and lower ball joints and rocker arms and front-end struts. The car didn't run right. They took the car back and immediately found the problem and fixed it! That's right, they didn't put me off and leave me hanging. THEY FIXED IT! I have many more updates to tell you, but the bottom line is they do great work. Rich and Lisa care about their customers. (Good luck finding that somewhere else buddy = lol). Ken (top mechanic) and his crew do really, really good work. I'm a salesman and totally rely on my Lincoln Town Car to make my money. Thanks to Charlie and Ray's, my old beat-up Lincoln now drives like a " brand new " car! If you want a good job on your car, stop playing around with those other mechanics. Let Charlie and Ray's just fix the car! Best wishes to everyone, and thank you "Rich" (new owner - a great guy) & Lisa (the girl behind the desk who knows what the hell is going on from the starting gate!) and Ken (not a good mechanic = but a great mechanic!) and his crew!

Highly recommend it with great service and more than fair prices. I have been coming here for years and will continue.

My 87 Chevy R10, which is my baby, by the way, was having a problem shutting off after 20 minutes of driving and was then hard to start. I couldn't figure out the problem and was referred to Charlie and Rays by a coworker. They diagnosed it as having a bad distributor and were able to replace it. They got me back on the road with no further issues. All shops are not able to still diagnose and repair an older vehicle like mine but the mechanics at Charlie & Ray's are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I'm glad I was referred to them and would definitely bring my vehicle back if necessary. Thanks!
